Wish I Could Listen
I’ve listened to a few episodes but decided to not try to listen anymore, mainly bc of the format of this podcast. The setup of Madeline usually explaining a topic and Kenna reacting/interjecting regularly, to me, is very distracting and a missed opportunity. I’m not sure if Kenna was the best choice for cohost, as her interjections are typically somewhat hollow and unnecessary, and are a bit of an obstacle in the flow of the discussion (imo). I wonder what the podcast would be like without a cohost, and how much more engaging that might be to listen to. Often after hearing Kenna's exclamations/anecdotes, I end up not rly knowing what she means to get across. The skill of being able to articulate your thoughts and experiences on the spot is tricky, and I feel like what she tries to convey tends to be, unfortunately, lost on me. When she’s the one presenting info, it’s hard for me to follow as well for the same reasons. I love the subjects chosen for each episode and would love to learn more about them, but the structure and execution of this podcast is too distracting for me, personally. I’m glad I’m in the minority on that one, since there’s a lot of good about this podcast, and Madeline is a great host. If there’s ever a change to how the podcast is set up then I’ll probably be back as a listener.Read full review »

I’ve listened to every episode and I’m compressed at the work and research that goes into each one! I’ve learned so much, keep up the good work!
