I love hearing from someone my age about the struggles we go through. Solo episodes are my favorite

You’re the best. So sweet and real. And so honest and wise.

I see other reviewers comment on being an interviewer vs. conversationalist. I don’t think Eileen should choose. I like hearing both. I enjoy her interviews but also love love love when she talks with people in her circle like Annie, Sabrina, and Anna. I find her vulnerability in reflecting on...Read full review »

I’m currently re-listening to the episode with Dr. Igor Galynker, which left a big impression on me the first time around and was a great choice for a rerun. I lost my dad to suicide and this episode answered some of my old questions and gave me more clarity and peace on a situation that has...Read full review »

I’ve followed Eileen for many years and I appreciate her topics and subjects. I like her solo episodes but I think she struggles in interviewing. She often leads her subjects to her own conclusions and it seems she can’t decide between being an interviewer and being a conversationalist. It’s...Read full review »

I was so excited for the new pod to come out but yikes the way you talk about other women, specifically your ex’s ex gf…

I’m a longtime follower of Eileen Kelly from her instagram days. Although I have enjoyed some of the episodes, I think the title of the podcast is misleading and should be changed. Mental health isn’t really - and arguably shouldn’t be - the main focus. There are a few eps about BPD and...Read full review »

Very sweet! I love the topics but I do wish to see more diversity in the group of guests

The content and guests of this podcast are great. Eileen is a competent interviewer but girl… please stop cutting off and finishing your guests’ sentences. While some guests handle it gracefully, others are clearly thrown off by it every time, and it’s irritating to listen to. After listening to...Read full review »

I love this podcast sm. Eileen’s choice of guests is amazing, but her solo eps are the besssttt. I just listened to her most recent solo summer catch up and the tiny meditation at the end is beautiful. Thank u <3

Love your show. Yesss please do Patreon on the dear media tea! Also- don't stress about being consistent with every week. Just maybe make a separate insta for the pod to update people on when you’re going to be skipping weeks? Keep doing your thing ❤️‍🔥Read full review »

Yeah, I don’t know how someone could defend Eileen after not just once- but TWICE, inviting racist guest to “have a conversation” but then never properly disclosing ALL of their guest’s racist past and gloss over important questions. Eileen isn’t a journalist, but having a large audience comes...Read full review »

I’ve been following Eileen since I was just a 16 year old girl (I’m now 22). From reading killerandasweetthang blogs to listening to pillow talk, and now to Going Mental, it’s been amazing to see how Eileen is constantly diving into different subjects and exploring new paths. Thank you Eileen for sharing your story! I think your voice is beautiful, actually one of the best to listen to. I was wondering if you could do an episode on OCPD? That would be really helpful and informative. Thank you for all that you do💜

I have been following Eileen since 2016, she’s one of the reasons I felt I could move to nyc at 17 for college. 8 years later, I recommend her podcast to everyone. She’s the reason I am open about my mental health, that I’m on lexapro, etc. What I admire most about Eileen is that she seeks the...Read full review »

The most recent episode was fantastic but when Emily mentioned feeling “fat” in a photo and face tuning after, it was disheartening. I think it would have been fruitful to acknowledge how fatphobia and internalized fatphobia plays a role in her life/career and just our culture in general!

I have listened to a few episodes now and I just find Eileen to be bad interviewer. She interrupts guests and it’s very clear she often hasn’t done any research about the topic she’s discussing. She can’t have a conversation without centering herself.

I used to really enjoy this podcast, but more recently I’ve noticed Eileen’s urge to spin the conversation towards her own experiences and opinions- often interrupting her guests which is irritating. Can we get some meatier questions?
