A unique talent
Measured (for the most part). Thoughtful (always). Wish there was much more of this in the cardiovascular space. As a lapsed academic (former tenured full professor who burned out on the “academic model,” now having found joy in doing what I can add value to people’s lives in day to day practice), I wish I had had voices like his in my ear when I was coming up. I am pleased to support courageous work such as this, not least so because he is risking his traditional academic career (time commitment and frankness) in an effort to remind us of then privileges and responsibilities associated with the practice of medicine.
