As a civilian working in Death Care, I’m grateful for this podcast. An important aspect of the scientific method is to poke holes in all hypotheses in order to strengthen the robustness of a conclusion. Thank you

Love this show for the rational, intelligent discussion of issues involving medicine. My background is in math, not medicine, so some parts can go over my head, but not too badly. I just can’t say enough about how much we need to talk about what the evidence is actually telling us, and that is...Read full review »

Disappointed in the ACCP decision. Thanks for the enlightening discussion, as usual.

Vinay Prasad challenges bad science and the self-congratulatory rhetoric of pharma and pharma-paid doctors on their “groundbreaking innovations” and the “paradigm shifts” that especially lead to more revenue. Thank you for voicing what most of us think!

I joined community oncology right out of fellowship and very much appreciate the critical review of our field and recognition of pharma impact on clinical trial data. The academic world is often too celebratory and needs to be as critical as VP. I’m glad I found Malignant during fellowship to...Read full review »

Maybe if we had a Vinay Prasad clone telling the truth about nutritional epidemiology, this nation wouldn’t be experiencing many of the health issues and diseases that plague the population.

Excellent podcasts for heme on trainees and attendings alike. Best episodes are the post ASCO or post ASH abstract analysis and journal clubs. Great interviewer and articulate speaker. Highly recommend.

As an anesthesia resident, very little of the discussions topics, especially regarding cancer are clinically relevant to me. That being said, this podcast is a joy to listen to. The thoughtful discussion of EBM is applicable to all practitioners of medicine, and the practice of critical thinking...Read full review »

Fantastic content! It’s sometimes technical but always makes sense to the layman. VP is becoming a national treasure for critical thinking on medical research and policy issues. Amazing that this is available to me through these informative podcasts

I’m an MD and enjoy the podcast but come on, the ableism expressed by guests and the host is really something else. The episode where the host keeps repeating how progressive he is then ranting about kids in NYC needing vaccines to eat in restaurants was too much.
