Attacks a survivor of domestic violence
Wow, the March 8th episode with Lisa involves attacking a biological mom who is a survivor of domestic violence. There are a number of misrepresentations, but the host specifically represents that the bio mom gave up her child for a man, but the man was abusive and later attempted to kill her (he’s in jail for the rest of her life for attempted murder). She reworked custody to protect her son until she was able to escape the relationship. The host clearly didn’t do her homework - if she’d asked for the name of the bio mom, she would have found all sorts of information about this. The bio mom has testified before Congress, published a book, spoken at rallies next to Congressional leaders.

More reviews of Plus HER - A Stepmom's Journey
I loved the first several episodes! I identified with her in so many different ways, and was so calmed by her gentle and authentic way of discussion. Highly recommend!

I’ve done my own...Read full review »
