Listening to actual play recordings of RPGs are fun, but they can occasionally be long to the point of inviting the fast forward button. Fortunately, the peeps behind Pocket-Sized Play edit the sessions into 22-minute sized chunks that retain the context and thrilling moments of role playing....Read full review »

I love the no-nonsense story-only editing in this series. Always amazing chemistry between the people and top notch stories to listen to.

This is actual play at its finest. This isn’t a comedy podcast, this is high drama at the table, with smart editing and fantastic players. You won’t regret subscribing.

I love listening to this crew play, it's well edited and is a nice way to get an AP without the annoying bits present in other AP podcasts.

Sure, I'm a host on the show. So that's a bias. But hey, we do a pretty great job, and offer a type of actual play I've always looked for: concise, punchy, like good radio. Check it out and let us know what you think!

It feels very inspired by Friends at the table - except it's edited down to the meat of the game, highlighting mechanics as they go. It's a great idea for a podcast. In 30 minutes, you get a lot of role play. Although new, it feels like the chemistry is there already and it was a joy to listen to.
