Very Slow and Clear Spaniard
This podcast is great for training my ear for the accent that the Spaniards have. They tend to speak so fast that I have trouble understanding them, especially since I don't get much practice with them here in the USA, but the host of Hoy Hablamos speaks so slowly and clearly that I actually speed him up a little bit using a podcast playing app called Overcast. The topics discussed are interesting enough. He also explains the idioms he uses and gives good advice for practicing. The podcast is entirely in Spanish, so it isn't for beginners, but I recommend intermediate students to definitely give this a try. Two other podcasts I like that teach Spanish include Coffee Break Spanish and Españolistas. I rate Hoy Hablamos higher because it is 100% native Spanish. The other two podcasts pair a native speaker with a partner who is an advanced student. Finally, for extra practice, I like to listen to podcasts that are made for a native Spanish speaking audience. For example, NHK World Radio Español has a great daily news brief, spoken very clearly. Other podcasts are for more specialized interest.Read full review »

Es un bueno podcast, pero el chico podría hablar un poquito más rápido como los españoles nativos. Gracias por su disponibilidad e por todo el contenido de muy buena calidad
