“I want to thank these ladies for producing this podcast. I am enjoying all of the content. I really enjoy listening to them discribe the activities they do with the students... like the play house! It sounds like the children in their classrooms are having so much fun while they learn. I aspire to have that experience!
I graduated over a decade ago with my teaching degree and have had many jobs... but none as a classroom teacher, yet. A few 9-5's, sub teaching, and a teachers aide.... just recently went back to school and got my certificate back and am determined to get a regular teaching job. This podcast has helped me get my teacher mindset back...as opposed to substitute teacher.
Also as a great bonus, I am a new mom (my daughter is 9 months old) and listening to this podcast has given me great insight as to how children learn... and I have used some of their strategies while teaching my daughter (such as pointing to words when I read them in her books, and making sure I talk to her with conversation rather than baby talk)
