Freedom is a privilege we are given today thanks to our selfless ancestors who fought for it during the colonization of foreign countries over ours, particularly Spain.  Our national hero, Jose Rizal, bravely fought against them through his writings to spark the nationalism of Filipinos so that they could fight and be free.
