Some great, some really not
There have been some stories that have been really great with interesting ideas and executions, quirky takes on the broadly defined fantasy tropes. But...those seem to come in around half or less sadly. I want to say that I'm not one of the 'this isn't fantasy if there's no swords and barbarians and if there are no barbarians then its no good' types. I enjoy an elastic definition of fiction genres. I really do like some of the stories, but others just seem to go on and on and are....well boring. In fairness I haven't been through all that far into the archives, but the wheat to chaff ratio so far makes me less willing to do so. I really like escape pod and pseudopod so hoping I'm proved wrong on this as I listen more.Read full review »

Although it came out on the 1st of April, this podcast has been anything but a joke. The story choice has been...interesting. Makes me love the lil spinning disc on my iTunes announcing a new episode. It was worth the wait. Thanks Rachel and keep up the good work.
