Great role playing, mediocre story and too PC
Starting this show off I was really excited by it. I liked the players and thought they were pretty funny. Over time the “family friendly” aspect of it really takes a toll. The show never does anything that would be exciting for someone over 13 years only. I’m not saying I need cussing and adult content, but there is a “childish” feeling to the show while they are telling stories and making decisions. The story is kind of weak and relies really heavily on the games, too a fault. They take different turns obviously, but this isn’t an original story in the world of Pokémon but a slightly different retelling of the story. For reference I’m on episode 8. But I decided that this show isn’t for me and I’m deleting the episodes I had downloaded to listen to next. Good luck to the guys and hopefully it has a great audience.

This hilarious and surprisingly adorable podcast is a love letter to all the great and ridiculous things from the Pokémon games. I’m only partway through the backlog but it’s already become one of my favorite podcasts. I can’t wait to catch up so I can listen to the series as it comes out!
