Well researched and presented
I found the show is a great alternative to the pop-political podcasts that seem so ubiquitous now. Politics and political philosophy are a deep and complicated web of ideologies and political systems that have been tangling together for centuries. This podcast does a great job of going in depth with nearly all forms of political philosophy from antiquity to present day and everything in between. The episodes do a great job of taking the academic political philosophy language and break it down so even layman like myself can understand them. If you’re looking for snarky political takes you will not find much of that but you will find honest and in-depth ideological critiques from a mostly left leaning host who does a great job of setting his leanings aside to give philosophies he may not agree with a fair shake. That is something you will rarely get from other political podcasts.
