Longer, more nuanced, interviews
The realm of the programmes that have been broadcast since summer 2017 has allowed interviewees to explain the reasons why they are involved in politics, rather than just what they wish to achieve. This makes for a better and more nuanced experience for the Lissner; even with the people that I cannot agree with, it’s very interesting to find out where they’ve come from, and what makes them tick. This also allows the listener to develop a fuller picture. There is a human side to politics, and this programme explores it extremely well.

Great podcast. The best bits are Nick’s soliloquies frankly. The George Osborne one gave me a new insight into just how hard it is to do Nick’s job well.

Good podcast that allows you to see more of politics, and more of the mind of the political reporter/ presenter.
