“What a lovely generous and discursive interview.
David Lammy is a big hitter who I knew nothing about till listening to this episode of Political Thinking. That is what you get from PTWNR, insights into big political players.
Lammy went to Harvard Law school with Obama, and is a shoe-in for being Labour Foreign Secretary come the next general election victory for Kier Starmer in 2024!! He’s a Tottenham supporter and his boss, Kier, was his guest at White Lane for Arsenal’s 3-0 defeat last season!
Lots of great stories and real warmth between him and Nick Robinson who is SUCH a skilled interviewer and a generous human being.
What a lovely bloke David Lammy is, and I never knew. What a wise man. & What an inspiring role model for his 2 late teenage daughters, and this wobbling old Labour supporter (Who voted for Kier Starmer in the Labour leadership ballot but hates how polemical politics has become under BJ, Trump and Remain v Leavers.)
