“I love this podcast. Most of the gaming podcasts bury the gaming discussion under all sorts of unrelated stuff. That's fine if you enjoy hearing what someone had for breakfast, or if the hosts are funny, or even if you like being part of some strange "Beyond!" Cult.
If you like lots of unrelated banter with your gaming discussions, this podcast is not for you. If on the other hand you want to get right into the discussion of a game, dial up Polygon's "Quality Control". These are short interviews of the person who wrote a game review about that game. They don't sound scripted to me. Sometimes the discussions are humorous but the game is always the focus. Often they include insights into what it's like to review games for a living.
