A hilarious and informative papal adventure
Pontifacts is a brilliant podcast in the rexypod tradition and if you have even the remotest interest in the popes and their history then you should check this out. The format has Bry doing the research into all the goings on (why santa punched a guy, why does a bird get to elect the pope and other more serious things) and then she presents all of this info to her friend Fry who is going in spoiler-free. The two then make even the dryest theological arguments sound hilarious and you'll come out the other end of each episode surprised by how much you remember precisely because of all the laughs had. Also I will add that this podcast is an excellent pairing for Totalus Rankium so you can finally understand why all these emperors are angry at the pope and why it's so hard to decide what Jesus' whole deal is. So yeah, what are you waiting for? Dive in and take a whiff of the popery, you won't regret it!Read full review »

This podcast is so much fun to listen to. I listen to it every morning on my walk to school; who knew the history of early Christianity could be so fun?
