Found this podcast by accident…but it’s no accident i keep returning. Dave & Kirster’s deep dive into 90s albums is great! The reviews of crap albums are entertaining …but the reviews of albums they like are so informative and their enthusiasm really shines through. Cleverly contextualising...Read full review »

This has been my go-to podcast for some time, now. I am currently researching the scathing yet hilarious opinions of middle-aged, balding men for a doctorate paper that I am writing, as part of my PhD at the University of Hemel Hempstead where I am reading Depeche Mode as a mature...Read full review »

I learned how many songs are on each number one album during the early 1990s and the total run time of each recording. I find the track by track discussions and associated trivia highly interesting, such as backing vocalists and guest artistes. It would be beneficial to know the mixing engineer...Read full review »

We’re currently up to 199…2? I am nine years old and listen to the albums my mum buys me on tape from Britannia Music Club, my new music exposure comes from the occasional compilation album (hence me knowing all the words to Kim Appleby’s Don’t Worry when Krister played it) and my...Read full review »

Two people talking about pop music including (as all good pop music should) aspects of life. Give it a go and dive in where you like, tremendous

I’ve only just discovered the podcast but really loved the first couple of episodes I’ve listened to. Great idea for a podcast and brilliantly done. Looking forward to working my way through the back catalogue.

Krister and Dave take a deep dive (no one said deep dive in the nineties) into all the number one pop albums of the 1990’s. My entry point was their Erasure’s Chorus episode - I was sceptical at first, I thought it would be a bloodbath - but I was soon won over by their well researched,...Read full review »

Can they live up to their oustanding name? Word to your mother they can. Brilliant concept, extremely funny & wonderfully nostalgic. Love it.

Slightly bias as Krister is one of my best mates and we’ve talked music since we DJ’d in Luton. However, the combination of Dave and Krister is brilliant. The sparring off over the tracks is fun and enjoyable. It’s kind of like being in the pub with friends, the swearing, the rants and the jokes...Read full review »

A highly entertaining podcast with a perfect blend of music, review and bants! Great for a bit of early 90’s music nostalgia although I have to admit, I’m looking forward to 1994 onwards so I can actually remember anything! 😂

Just sorry that I didn’t know it existed until last week... but having great fun catching up! Cheers Dave, Cheers Krista.

Honest, hilarious, sweary and bloody good company. Most enjoyable when they review something they hate as they don't hold back. Really looking forward to anything involving Damon Albarn. Keep it up, guys.Read full review »

Gave this a listen today while working and it brought smiles and laughter the whole time! The hosts work well together and the audio is great. Loved listening to their thoughts, opinions, and they even made the facts fun! Fantastic job! This podcast will be staying in my rotation for sure!

A great show. I listen whilst driving and it’s like having two of your own mates in the back seat. Really funny, informal and informative. I didn’t know I needed this and now I can’t wait each week. Looking forward to the rest of the decade! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Got this podcast recommended by a mate and now can’t get enough of it. Surprisingly informative and funny as hell. Just had a look at a wiki of 90’s number one albums and really excited for future episodes!

My new favourite podcast. Great interaction between the hosts with moments of humour and reflection. Genuinely informative and highlights albums that may have passed me by. Can’t wait to hear what they think of some of my favourite 90’s albums in future episodes.

Filled a knowledge void I didn’t know I had. These guys are hilarious and informative - what else do you want from a podcast?

Great podcast where 2 sweary blokes listen to every number one album of the 90’s. It’s funny, informative and entertaining. Check it out.
JPSimmonds via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 02/20/19
These two middle aged bald men dissecting these 90’s albums of yesteryear, including some predictably awful musical atrocities, is utterly hilarious. I think the podcast will go from strength to strength.

I love the 90s! Thank goodness that there are good folks out there to remind me that not every song or album from that decade is musically the greatest thing which ever happened to pop culture. I love the intro music and and the sweary chat between these two men. Very funny!
GuitarGaz77 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 02/15/19
This is such a great idea for podcast: two guys reviewing every song from every Number 1 album of the 1990s. There are some great tunes and some awful tunes here, but they're all handled in a really funny and entertaing way by the two hosts. Also, the podcast is a great trip down memory lane...Read full review »
