I miss the movies
Have to join in with those who are not a fan of the Culturetopia shift. I also listen to NPR: Books and NPR: Pop Culture, so I didn't need the additional "arts coverage". I don't like knowing that there are movie reviews and articles that I am missing because they didn't get included, or hearing abbreviated stories because they were cut for time, and the transitions and banter between segments seems forced and underwritten. I set up a movies "podcast" in the NPR customizer as someone recommended, but now each story comes in as a separate download, so that's a pain, and not every story gets captured for some reason. I hear movie reviews on Fresh Air or in the Pop Culture podcast all the time that didn't get pulled in by my customized movie downloader. I can't believe this is less expensive to produce than the old podcast, and if someone at NPR really cares about this, fine, keep doing it. But just like we can still get Books, give us back Movies!Read full review »

I just listened to the episode about Teen Sex Movies and Peeps, and I could not stop laughing. How hilarious and right on. Love it, love it. This is the best podcast.
