“This and interesting perspective on playboy and Hefner’s life. However it is a perspective and you can tell some “journalistic” decisions were made on what to include, what to not include and what to rise to prominence. Some of the inferences are tenuous at best and the show presents them as fact or real. You can tell that the authors had a story they wanted to tell and made the pieces fit that narrative. You can also see the cracks in that story in several episodes. In several interviews. I would have preferred a more balanced approach, it would have made it far more interesting of a piece.”
