Listen now
Description
Surviving: Then, and Now is a series where Kristy Jo, Mind and Body Strategist and founder of Power Your Life Life Today, interviews survivors of suicide attempts. The goal of this series is to present the world with more understanding, insight, and tools to prevent suicide. Bullying is a very real problem and it’s becoming more so every day. Every child wants to be accepted. In this interview, 18-year old Kayla Moyle  shares how depression hit at a young age. She was bullied for her weight, the way she looked, and called names because of her thick, curly hair she put in a ponytail. Now at age 18, she shares her story today to help other teenagers or young kids who might be going through this. We hope this interview opens your mind and heart, that you’re filled with compassion, and that you go out to be more mindful of the people around you each day.   Join us for enlightening conversation, a new perspective, and insights that will help you to feel more clarity, compassion, empathy, and understanding for the world around you. Be sure to find Parts 1, 2 and 3, and be on the lookout for parts 5-6 released later this week.
