Truly Phenomenal
If you (like me) appreciate Tim Keller's preaching and would like a better understanding of how he gets there, this is an incredibly wonderful resource. I'm an aspiring preacher and seminary student, so this class was right up my alley. Really though, I would recommend this course to any Christian who wants to deepen their understanding of how to teach the Bible in a winsome, contextual (both Scripturally and culturally), and transformative way. Both the lectures and Q&A sessions are very helpful, convicting, encouraging, challenging - even moving. I was brought to tears on several occassions. Even the "mini-sermons" were powerful. Before listening to this course, I was largely unfamiliar with Ed Clowney, but the tag-team effort here with Keller worked quite well. Clowney seemed like a wise, gentle, sympathetic older man. Keller seemed like a great teacher who really understands the concepts and is able to articulate them well. I plan on listening to this course at least once a year, not only for the information, but also for my soul's sake. It fed my mind and my heart. I really can't recommend it enough. Such a great lecture series. Highly reccomended. Clowney and Keller are an amazing duo. Complementing each other beginning to end. Again, can't say enough about how great these are.

If you want to actually preach the Gospel, not just preach the...Read full review »
