If you (like me) appreciate Tim Keller's preaching and would like a better understanding of how he gets there, this is an incredibly wonderful resource. I'm an aspiring preacher and seminary student, so this class was right up my alley. Really though, I would recommend this course to any...Read full review »

This is an incredible resource that will redefine how you preach the gospel. With a little luck, you can find a syllabus in .pdf floating around the interwebs. You’ll know you’ve found it because it’s 189 pages of pure gold.

Whether you are a preacher or a layman, this is an amazing resource that will change how you see the art of the sermon. Many lectures such as these tend to be too "insider" and become mechanical methodologies that sound like sales tactics. But it's easy to tell that Tim Keller and Edmund...Read full review »

Such a great lecture series. Highly reccomended. Clowney and Keller are an amazing duo. Complementing each other beginning to end. Again, can't say enough about how great these are.

Every minister should listen through this lecture series at least once. This is a resource I keep on hand.

A brilliant preaching course which is theological, practical and engaging. Keller is easier to listen to than Clowney (who has now gone to be with Christ), but both have excellent content. Highlights are: • Keller's 'organic' approach to understanding how the OT teaches Christ • Clowney's...Read full review »

Incredible lecture series. It will change the way you read the Bible, think about passages, and teach/preach. I had never heard Tim Keller preach before listening to this and was absolutely blown away. His method is wonderful and he is a master of elevating Christ in the sermon. I'd give it more...Read full review »

This is brilliant. It is fairly deep and intense at times, but worth the effort. Even if you're not a preacher - I found it useful just in thinking about how I read the bible, and how I explained it to my kids. Ed Clowney and Tim Keller are fantastic teachers. Listen to this.

This series is an expansion of the preaching to the heart lectures given at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Having listened to both I cannot prepare a sermon without thinking about the questions and ideas raised in this series. If you want to actually preach the Gospel, not just preach the...Read full review »

If you're a Tim Keller fan (which I am), this is a phenomenal find. It's a little "inside baseball," - I'm not a preacher myself, but I found tremendous value in understanding how Tim approaches his preaching and, even more, how to think through scripture and life in a postmodern world. I too...Read full review »

I have listened to this series four times in the past year and gained something new from it every time. Thanks to RTS for recording this. I only wish the notes were available.
