As someone who enjoys learning about Naval History, I love how this podcast finds interesting subjects (mostly American) to educate listeners about. It’s also very fun to learn about the US Naval Academy and it’s culture/history. Can’t wait for more!

I found Preble Hall by accident. As is sometimes the case an accident can reveal a wonderful treasure. I am a product of my Dad and Mom’s fathers with my love of history. Maritime history being a first love. When I listen to your host(s) and the guests I’m no longer in the Year 2021. I am...Read full review »

Being new MIDN parents…this was great to hear from Paula. Our MIDN doesn’t tell us much about the daily details on the Yard. Great job by the interviewer and Paula-thanks for you 34 years of service! BZ Capt. Rick Dunn

I enjoyed listening to Roger Bailey discuss the importance of Naval Officers personal beliefs because of the autonomy they were given by the US Navy. It sheds new light on their effects on the events surrounding the Civil War. I’d love to hear more, please invite him back!

In a handful of episodes I have learned nuance about events I thought I understood, very illuminating having actual historians tell you history.

Good to hear about these shared naval histories. Unsurprisingly, the period of the American war of independence was punctuated by British naval influences! In this interesting interview Kate Jamieson offers insights that are likely to surprise and intrigue; and may lead listeners on both sides of...Read full review »

Not having been brought up or schooled in England the great British sea battles have passed me by and whilst I think I know something about Nelson (doesn’t everybody?) - one eye, died at Trafalger - it is very limited. This first episode from Prebble Hall provides a fascinating insight into...Read full review »
