Mini-sode: How to Break Free From Feeling Burnt Out
Listen now
Description
From moving to New York City at the age of seventeen to attend NYU and building a career in the height of hustle culture, to launching a Podcast and moving back to California in 2023, my curiosity for life has sometimes led to burnout. The first episode of the December mini-sodes is the game plan you need to overcome burnout, at any stage in your life.   1. Reflect ▪️ Evaluate how you’re spending your energy, so you can identify the cause of your burnout. 2. Plan  ▪️ Create an action plan, write down how you want to spend your energy and consider friends, family, work, faith, hobbies, etc. Ask yourself if you need to change any habits/routines.  3. Action ▪️ Identify where your time is going, especially if you feel like you have no time. Try the 168 hours exercise (7 days a week x 24 hrs a day = 168 hours a week). ▪️ Subtract time for sleeping, eating, etc. and use the remaining hours to finalize your plan and new schedule. Shoutout to The Creative Edition for the 168 hour exercise! ▪️ Put the plan to action (as soon as possible). Schedule time on your calendar to check-in with yourself in a week so you’re taking proactive steps to avoid burnout. 4. Self-care ▪️ Make sure to include self-care in your schedule. Whether it’s daily or weekly, consistent self-love can do wonders for your mental health and get you closer to feeling like your best self. Don’t be afraid to try new things, the goal is to find what works for you.  Relevant links: ▪️ Follow @PreciselyNowhere on Instagram or Facebook  ▪️ Follow @anissarosales on Instagram ▪️ Music and Editing by Marco @midnite_mind80 on Instagram
