Nostalgia and great memories from 2 great human beings.
I work in sales, and spend a lot of time in my vehicle. As such, I listen to a lot of podcasts and can say, without reservation, but this is one that I eagerly await every single week. I love listening to what sounds like two old friends reminiscing about a great time in their lives. To get to hear the stories, the behind the scenes and doubts, and the insights really makes even more special for me though Saturday mornings when I was growing up, racing to the television to see who Hacksaw was going to smack next with that 2 x 4! Add to that the fact that these guys come across us to legitimately good man. Duggan really seems to be cut from the type of moral cloths that I wish more of my childhood heroes it actually turned out to be cut from. There's an old saying that "you should never meet your heroes". Well, with Hacksaw Jim Duggan, that is not true. I met him once back in 1999 and he was a genuinely warm and friendly person that seem thrilled to death that he was providing entertainment for someone. I love this podcast, I love your stories, and I wish there were more of my childhood heroes that lived up to the image that they portrayed on television, like the old Hacksaw has. Keep it up!!!Read full review »

I'd like to enjoy this show, but I literally cannot hear Hacksaw, two weeks in a row. Audio is unacceptably bad, and seems to get worse each show. Running the recording through a leveler or dynamics filter before uploading would literally take seconds.

I recently started listening to Prime Time with Hacksaw and Mooney, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I’ve listed to Hacksaw on a few other podcasts so I was already familiar with how great of a storyteller he is, and Sean Mooney was one of the soundtracks to my childhood so it’s great...Read full review »
