Pure race based crap with no grasp of how economics works.

I’m studying Econ at university I’ve learned so much about economics. Growing up as someone who hasn’t identified as a person of color, I found it very enlightening and understood more about the experiences of first generation immigrants.

Regardless of your stance or views, this podcast can be informative and illuminating if you are truly seeking out personal accounts of life experiences and perspectives from people of color who are still underrepresented across the board at this time. It’s a fun, thought provoking podcast that...Read full review »

POC is a great podcast. The people Nancy interviews on the show bring fresh perspectives on policy, technology, and economics, and I feel inspired each time I tune in (not just from the topic at hand, but also from the work and experiences of the people featured on the show). As a host, Nancy is...Read full review »

I’ve listened to a few POC episodes now, and I’ve really been enjoying them! The episode with Sumaya Bouadi really brought up some points that I haven’t heard discussed before. Thanks for making this podcast!

Reminds me of casual conversations between me and my Asian friends. Hopefully more POC join the socio, economic, and political conversation this podcast is pioneering.

We need more asian voices in politics! Nancy is so knowledgeable and makes economics so clear, without insulting the listeners’ intelligence. She makes the point that economics should focus on how policies impact PEOPLE, and breaks down economic concepts like how GDP and the deficit are concepts...Read full review »

Listening to this podcast is like listening to a good friend, and the conversation is thoughtful and intelligent. The host, Nancy, comes across welcoming and open and explains complex concepts in such a clear manner that even someone who knows nothing about economics (like me) can understand.

Great to learn about politics and economics from real life stories and real people, not elitists. Makes economics more accessible and interesting

Heard the first episode on Spotify and absolutely had to run here and write a review. Love the straight forward facts sprinkled with subtle sarcastic humor. I also loved hearing the perspective of someone who isn’t a middle aged white man! Easy listen and insightful. 5 stars!

Excited to hear more from the podcast that has been overdue in this turbulent political climate. Nancy is bringing refreshing take to a table that has long been narrow and pale. Politics is about to be a lot more colorful.
