A LOVING REVIEW OF PROJECT MOONBASE
I have enjoyed Project Moonbase for a few years and heard, while listening to the most recent production thereof, DJ Bongoboy and MC Zirconium (these may or may not be their real names) shamelessly begging their listeners to give them a review or, at the very least, to mention them to someone in the dentist’s waiting room on a Thursday morning. I decided therefore to do them the favor of writing a review on I-Tunes in hope of a respite from their tragic solicitations. I think it is best to discuss Project Moonbase by considering in what circumstances you might enjoy listening to it. The first thing that comes to mind is when your tractor breaks down and you have time to kill awaiting assistance. Also, if you are an astronaut and would like some background music while you repair heat shields. You may also enjoy Project Moonbase if you are contemplating a great paradox, such as “If over the course of my lifetime the vast majority of my cells are replaced, am I still the same person I was to begin with?” Project Moonbase introduces the listener to music which apparently emanates from some alternate dimension. I say this because I do not recall ever hearing music on Project Moonbase performed by an artist with whom I am familiar. Amazingly, however, this music is frequently quite good. In any case, it tends to be quite entertaining and only occasionally does it make you wish you were at an auto race where you wouldn’t be able to hear the annoying tune they are playing. DJ Bongoboy and MC Zirconium (again, it is possible that these are not the names on their Citizen of the British Empire ID cards) are quite entertaining and sound like people who you might mention to your friends if they were relatives. I gave Project Moonbase five stars because I think you should give it a try. I truly believe there’s a chance you will enjoy it! Note to DJ and MC: You clearly put a lot of work into this podcast. I cannot hope to speak for all the residents of South Carolina, USA, but I for one certainly appreciate it!

I love this show. A wide and varied mix of music. The hosts are superb and I rarely feel the need to fast forward through a song - even Wing! Also, when something is … well frankly a bit crap or too weird… DJ Bongo Boy and MC Zirconium aren’t backwards in coming forward and saying so. Its a...Read full review »
