Really poor reporting
I was very surprised on how biased this podcast is. Mike accepts everything Israel claims about the war as fact without investigating if all these claims are true and brings up arguments/stories with a dishonest picture of the entire story. For example, a lot of time is given to debunking the ideology that Israel is an oppressor. It questions scrutiny on Israel to waging war while other countries are free to do the same without massive protest. But CT isn’t honest that the scrutiny has more to do with the fact that we are funding the war in Israel unlike these other situations. This is just one example of the one-sided-intellectually-dishonest reporting done here. I’m really disappointed too because I really like CT’s content. But this was either lazy at best or intentionally dishonest at worst.

In Mike Cosper’s style, this series is a compassionate explanation of the various sides to the issue done in the type of long-form journalism that such a complex issue demands.

After Rise and Fall of Mars Hill, I’d hoped for similar long-form journalism attentive to the details of this topic. Instead the host and show adopt an almost uniformly anti-Palestinian position and fail to seriously interrogate any Israeli claims. Clearly this was made for an American audience...Read full review »
