One of my fave podcasts now. Very thorough and thoughtful. I can’t believe the outright negligence of these detectives,!

This is by far the best true crime series that I’ve ever heard or seen. The attorneys go into great detail of how EXACTLY the court system works! Talking about the motions, the DA, the judges, the witnesses, and the defendants. It shows how the prosecutors don’t really care if you’re innocent or...Read full review »

Masters of their craft Susan and Jacinda remain focused and very, so very clever. Everyone needed hope before they took on this latest case, I imagine they have more now. Thank you.

What a powerhouse team Susan and Jacinda are. I was a huge fan of Susan’s from her Undisclosed days and she’s doing even bigger and better things with Jacinda! Well done to all involved for this amazing podcast.

It just blows my mind, how this could happen. Shame on those cops!

Why would people who care so much about justice so gleefully advertise the meat industry? An industry built upon suffering, abuse, creulty and slaughter with a side order of environmental carnage. A shameful double standard....

This is one of my very favorite Podcasts! The amount of true investigation these ladies (and Kevin😁) do is incredible. You can feel their emotions grow through out the podcast as they search to find the truth. I can’t wait to see how this all play's out. This podcast is definitely binge worthy.Read full review »

Very thorough investigating. They get straight to the story without a lot of pre-storyline chit chat.

We rate this as one of our absolute favorite investigative journalism podcasts. Amazing to see how every detail is sifted and looked at anew. The chemistry between Jacinda & Susan is quietly hilarious (except it might be tough on a stakeout with the pair and nothing to eat but a Slim Jim)....Read full review »

Such great content and a podcast. Unfortunately 5 episodes in and I have to stop. The vocal fry is so distracting. I realize that’s my issue.

These women are tenacious, clever, sweet and curious. If you tell them something you better damn well bring receipts!! Not that it helps him much but love to Jake and Ty’s daughter from Queensland Australia. If/when Jake gets out his first trip to Australia is on me!!!

Great show, but listening to Jacinda’s vocal fry might be enough to make me stop listening! Is she still in bed? Not at all attractive Please speak with a clear voice!

There’s a point in Ep 3 that the two hosts sound like they’ve immersed themselves in valley-speak blah blah blah whiny blah 3-4Ads to start 2-3 Ads at 2 breaks within the episode Close with 3 more Ads Maybe off a paid sub instead? Ugh
Kbutter via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/15/24
They are doing great work!! I wish Susan would slow down and articulate her words more clearly. And the ads are so repetitive but I guess those are just the sponsors they have. Keep up the good work to give a voice to victims of our justice system.

Wow. Truly one of the best I’ve heard. The time and effort given to investigate…the way it’s narrated, the emotions you go through…I felt like I was right beside them. Beautifully done lady’s. Hope to see many more!

I love Season 2 of this podcast. Both women are easy and enjoyable to listen to. And that is a tall ask for podcasts, in my opinion. I love how real they are, they speak their mind, and are super smart. Can’t wait to go listen to Season 1. Please release more soon!

Serial and In the Dark were the best, well-told, fact based, and most positively impactful podcasts: this is rising to the ranks. So well done. Throughout Season 2, they reference Detectives Souza (SP?) and Wells. Susan tends to speak quickly, and when says the names, they run together to sound like she’s saying the name of one person. I checked the transcription, and even it shows it as “Detective Susa Ann Wells” or “Detective Susan...Read full review »

Wow just finished S1 about the wrongful convictions of the boys from Floyd County GA. I live just down the road and this terrifies me. I personally have had no problems with local laws or police, but it’s always in the back of my mind. Many many thanks. Now I gotta get a box of tissues😭😭

As a listener, the two seasons have been everything anyone can ask for. 100% full investment by the crew, no stone left unturned, well presented cases and results. Okay, I just finished listening to season 1 this morning while getting ready for work &, whew, it was WAY too long!! It took me FOREVER to get through it!! I’ve heard other podcasts with Susan Simpson, but this season with the sidebars really shows you how smug and snobby she is. It’s hard for me to hear her beliefs and assumptions when I don’t agree with most of them. Other than that, If you can stand being talked down to, the story is great and...Read full review »

Susan Simpson does such incredible work. She and Jacinda have great chemistry working together. Susan, and Jacinda do such thorough investigations that they set the bar for all other podcasts. Season 2 grabs you from the start, and doesn’t let go until the end. The one thing you need to know about California is they love criminals and they will do nothing to help you catch a criminal because criminals keep them in power. Thanks for all your hard work and after episode 17 Tim sure does sound really shady. Even more shady than he sounded all season.

Hopefully they can get an innocent man out of prison! After listening to the last episode, why can’t they submit the DNA into voices of justice? They might be able to help with the testing.

So this guy just continues to Rot In prison! Why weren’t you guys fund raising for an attorney? Seriously do better with your platform! You get paid through sponsors? Use some of that money to more than just exploit prisoners.. No longer a fan.. This was completely pointless
