Highlights from the K-COM Stadium in Hull as the hosts met Wakefield in the opening round of the Super 8s. Recent history suggested that the Black and Whites should be weary, having lost by a massive 72 - 10 scoreline at Trinity a few weeks ago. in this contest where quality was in short supply we saw Wakefield's second half of the season form continue as they came back into the contest in a much-livelier second half, despite FC's try midway through the second period. Wakefield will...

In a game expected to be ultra competitive between two in-form sides, we were treated to nine tries, lead changes & a comeback as Huddersfield Giants showed perhaps they wanted this one that bit more than their hosts from along the M62. Jermaine McGillvary grabbed the Man of the Match award as his three four-pointers helped settle this game, which in both the early stages and as the first half closed out, looked like it Castleford's to lose. It's three wins in a row now for Giants,...

A much-anticipated meeting of these West Yorkshire rivals as Leeds headed to the Mend-a-Hose Jungle with legendary former player now installed to lead the Rhinos from the touchline hoping to end a slide that's seen them drop into the bottom four of the Betfred Super League table. The game began at rapid pace as Rhinos took the lead through Briscoe, but after Cas got started - leading 16-10 at the break - it became a one-sided affair, with both Sene-Lefao & Trueman scoring twice in the...

Kicking off Round 20 of the Betfred Super League season were these two sides who both have different ambitions heading into the split. The home side were looking to recover from their loss at fellow strugglers Hull KR, while FC entered the evening poised to leap into the top four should the likes of Castleford or Warrington slip up. As it happened, the Giants ran out comfortable winners, with three first half tries and a solid defensive effort keeping the Black and Whites at bay. The...

Proper Sport's Rugby League came from the Totally Wicked Stadium, home of the long-time Super League leaders for their clash against Trinity, one of only two sides to get the better of them so far this campaign. After cruising to a decent lead at half-time, the second-half was much tougher for Saints, as Wakefield scored four tries in a row early on, before Saints re-gained their lead & clung on for a final score of 34 - 30.
