Proper Sport's Rugby League came from the Totally Wicked Stadium, home of the long-time Super League leaders for their clash against Trinity, one of only two sides to get the better of them so far this campaign. After cruising to a decent lead at half-time, the second-half was much tougher for Saints, as Wakefield scored four tries in a row early on, before Saints re-gained their lead & clung on for a final score of 34 - 30.

On a midsummer evening when England were playing their final World Cup group fixture against Belgium, two of Super League's biggest clubs went head to head hoping to put recent negative results behind them.
