Helpful for all Helping Professions (I’m in Social Work)
This podcast is as intriguing as it is helpful. I love that it covers a wide range of topics that relate to all forms of mental healthcare. Right now I only have the training of a Bachelor’s degree in social work and know very little about the medical field; However, this podcast has helped me in my academic journey to expand my knowledge base. I feel like it has provided me with useful information that will allow me to better assist my clients. Also, I am currently a Guardian Advocate for an involuntary patient at an inpatient psychiatric facility. Some of the episodes about psych medications, (I especially appreciated the podcast discussing long acting injectable forms of antipsychotics and the one on the opioid crisis!) I’m a relatively new listener, but I plan on continuing to tune in!

This is honestly the best mental health podcast I’ve stumbled across. Dr. Puder and his guests discuss the most interesting and thought-provoking topics. I’ve learned so much. Thank for the time and effort that goes into this. So much appreciated!
