PMHNP Student
The specialty practice of working with individuals and families who have been impacted by drug and alcohol addiction has offered more challenges, rewards, and complexities than I could have ever imagined as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have practiced as an addiction treatment provider at several dual-diagnosis facilities in New Hampshire for the past 5 years, and I feel it is important to be able to confidently address mental health as part of the recovery process. Therefore, I am currently in a post-graduate PMHNP certificate program at the University of New Hampshire to enhance my psychiatry knowledge base and skills. I find your podcast episodes extremely helpful in further understanding our weekly topics, and I listen to them at least a couple of times a week. Thank you!
