This should be required listening for every PT. Develops excellent critical thinking skills. These guys helped me more than I can express in the first 5 years of my practice!

Erik and JW talk weather, English bus routes and dad jokes before finally conceding they have an article to review. The reviews themselves are a fantastic look at the science behind the science and tend to find one of several common shortfalls regarding the research design. Great mix of humour,...Read full review »

Listening to these guys has improved my clinical practice immensely. They constantly force me to challenge my own biases and have helped me think much more critically when it comes to evaluating the PT literature. Envelope of function completely changed the way I treat. Thanks guys! 🙏🏼

Recently suffered a meniscal tear. Turned to this podcast for some informative discussion on the topic. Instead I had to sit through ads and feckless banter. A waste of my time

Stay on topic on the points you talk about man. You guys get sidetracked so often it’s annoying and makes me lose my connection with what you were saying. It goes from small talk and lunch time conversation to medical topics and back to 10-15 minutes of filler talks. But the subject’s you are...Read full review »

As an avid podcast listener, I’ve found my favorite sports & ortho PT podcast. Hosts are both very helpful on social networks if looking for clinical guidance

Intelligent, critical and in depth discussion of physio and health related topics that helps build your clinical reasoning and ability to interpret research. Little gems in every episode. Leads the way in terms of physio podcasts. Warning: Occasional dad jokes! :)

I like this podcast because it’s a civilised, specific and open-minded conversation. It’s also great because it addresses the technical stuff like type of bias, choice of statistical analysis etc., but it’s not nitpicking over those things over the lunchroom table in a monthly inservice, and...Read full review »

Excellent way to stay a breast of current literature & build critical thinking skills. Side effect after 2 years of listening those who praise reki masters may tell you it has clouded your judgement though.

This podcast has been a great resource for me as a recent grad. JW and Erik's insight into a wide variety of topics coupled with the article reviews has helped me as a PT and given me a better understanding and appreciation of the current body of literature. Highly recommend!Read full review »

I appreciate how Erik and JW fit newer articles into the context of the PT and orthopedic literature. Their critical insights into methodology and the conclusions drawn from published studies in particular are valuable to me as a new grad that still has a lot to learn. Most educational (and...Read full review »

I listen to PT Inquest in order to keep up with recent evidence and to expand knowledge. The hosts and their guests are insightful, knowledgeable, and entertaining (love the corny jokes😄). They do a fantastic job of critiquing the research and giving take home points.

I really enjoy this podcast! It's a great resource to familiarize yourself with the most current research and evidence circulating out there without falling asleep reading abstracts and articles yourself. My current favorite podcast. They approach the topics in a skeptical manner and love their evidence based approach. Wish more PTs thought like they do.

Insightful and entertaining. I find the podcast compliments the DPT education I receive in the classroom, and adds perspective that doesn’t always come from school or in textbooks. I look forward to more episodes!

Perfect way to spend my commute . These are articles I am reading, but so great to hear these experienced researchers and clinicians picking them apart. MOST DEFINITELY recommended !

I am a PT student, beginning my internship, and I have listened to all the episodes, going through all the episodes a second time in fact. My faculty have a slightly different mindset/opinion than the guys on here, so it's nice to listen to some very intelligent commentary/questioning of some...Read full review »
