Sorry for no punctuation my phone is broken lol Had really high hopes for this as I’ve read some of Jessas writing and thought this would be a stimulating political podcast with a leftist tilt nothing is said that is actually thought provoking in a meaningful way you have to already have a lot...Read full review »

Her opinions and insights are fascinating even if I don’t always agree.

Brilliant podcast. Apparently it’s the only one on here I’ve listened to EVERY episode of so that’s gotta mean something (at least to meeeeeee).

What an obnoxious podcast. If you’re seeking a center left forum where self-appointed ‘intellectuals’ blather on about how the world doesn’t quite appreciate just how clever and relevant they are, this blather fest is for you. Personally, I felt like jumping out the window after one episode. Enjoy.

With activism and radicalism as co-opted as it is right now, it’s more important than ever to be able to see through the bs. This pod does just that and is the perfect antidote to black-and-white thinking. Be prepared to be a little uncomfortable, as the truth is not as sweet, tidy, or triumphant...Read full review »

Glib, yet so stilted; universal, but such navel gazing; bold, yet cringingly self-conscious. Dull AND dreary

Super not cool to spam my podcast feed with 91 episodes in one day- especially when it's the day I'm trying to get to my podcasts about impeachment. What the heckRead full review »

Subtle and nuanced discussion of all kinds of topics.

This podcast feels like a search for truth, thus I invoke a ridiculous mustachioed P.I. pun in this review title. Forgive me. I appreciate the guests I’ve encountered through listening. There’s an impressive array of subject throughout the episodes. I’m not always aligned with what’s being said,...Read full review »

Can’t say I always agree with her and her interviewees, but she’s funny, incisive, challenging and yes, sincere.

Really happy to have made this find.

The host still lets the guests ramble on too long sometimes, but most of the interviews are interesting anyways. Better than most other podcasts, and talks about the best movies (which I've seen) and maybe also the best books (which I have not read).Read full review »

It sounds a little improvised and unrehearsed sometimes, but I enjoy that aspect only for this podcast; I love how I can hear the processing of thoughts and ideas, and I learn so much. There are wonderful guests, and it is so nice to watch film and read books differently, more critically based on...Read full review »

Crispin is brilliant and uncompromising, I’d say the most cogent and forceful feminist voice of her generation — and this is a “feminist podcast,” the best one, but that description doesn’t quite encapsulate what the podcast is about — it’s thematically eccentric, with some episodes on broad...Read full review »

I love Jessa’s unflinching + oftentimes unpopular takes on things like marriage and the current state of feminism. Super grateful for this podcast.
Smart + unapologetic via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/25/18
Jessa is the only person in the feminist sphere that is actively criticizing outdated and toxic institutions such as marriage, heterosexuality, and women’s complicity in their own— and others— oppression. I sit on the edge of my seat every week for new episodes. Something everyone should listen...Read full review »

This is my favorite podcast, and I look forward to every Thursday when it is released. I love the smart examinations. We need more discussions like these ones.

Pure brilliance from the first second of the first episode.

Jessa's thoughts really need an hour to be heard - SO smart. In today's instant gratification world, no one is really thinking through whole issues, just partisan hacks bickering and screaming. This is podcast is NEEDED. SUBSCRIBERead full review »
