“This podcast is an excited and accessible review of episodes from both the modern and classic episodes of the television show Doctor Who, a show with over 50 years and 300 episodes of content. It is a great listen for anybody, and any fan of Doctor Who - new and/or old. Chris and Pete have a solid knowledge base and a true love of this show. The podcast is filled with that love and supplemented with great facts, tidbits, and headcanons galore. One of the best aspects of this podcast is how they watch through the show in a random order. While I was initially turned off by this idea, I’ve come to appreciate and look forward to the really unique and interesting connections to be made across the timelines. It is great to hear reviews of all the episodes I’ve seen but just as good to listen about episodes I haven’t seen. I’ve found that the summary and discussion are just enough to sweeten a first time viewing without ruining my appetite. I am working my way through this podcast’s “season 3” here on Apple and on Spotify/YouTube. Sylvester McCoy is my favourite and I can’t wait to see the randomizer take the show to more of his episodes. (Chris, your wife has a fellow Seventh fan out here.)
