Favorite sermon prep resource
Pulpit Fiction has become my favorite sermon prep resource....the lectionary based content, the variety of commentators, and breadth of scope--literary/historical critical/linguistic criticism and very sound theology is fantastic. It's almost like being back at the refectory table in seminary, and discussing our readings amongst fellow students and colleagues. Highly recommend!Read full review »

The commentary is refreshing. It is smart enough for those theologically trained and accessible to everyone.

Every week I go to my lectionary group. I sound so much smarter now that I have found and started listening regularly to Pulpit Fiction.

This is a worthwhile sermon-prep podcast. They go further in-depth than other lectionary-based podcasts that i've listened to, which i appreciate. They've got good production quality as well - utilizing music and other sound bites. This is helpful stuff!Read full review »
