Amazing podcast to geek out to...
I have not had much luck finding biblical commentary podcasts that don’t make me want to throw my computer directly into Lake Ontario. Now that I’ve found Pulpit Fiction, I won’t have to shell out the money for a new laptop. I appreciate the contextual commentary - placing the readings in their historical context, as well as in the present day context. Excellent information for those hoping to hear discussion on readings that are not rooted in a fundamentalist eco system.

Really like that these guys make me reflect on my thinking. Wish there was more to the prophet in the wilderness don’t get as much out of that segment

I am a pastor and preach regularly throughout the year. I prefer preaching from the lectionary and these guys always give great insights for each lectionary reading.
