For some, it's getting down to a specific weight or paying off a large debt. There are steps in setting realistic goals, but many struggle due to perfectionism. Many people feel if they mess up in achieving their goals, they should just quit. Take trying to shed a few pounds. Some women feel if they have a cheat day, everything is gone to waste and they should just stop working out. The point is perfection is not real and mistakes make us human. As long as you are actively making strides towards your goals, you are on the right track. Wherever you are in your journey to completing your goals, be proud of yourself!
