This show disappeared after the June 2021 pod episode. Just blinked out. No coda, no nothing. Someone tell me what the heck happened to these guys?

In a world of constant vanishing points into the endless new newness what was that I lost my train of thought and bought a new holy electric need machine, PIP cast is...sac-religious. Bring on Mason and Dixon.

My only complaint is sometimes I wish it were longer! Either that or it covered an even smaller selection of chapters. Pynchon is so dense it can feel like window shopping the highlights, but I think it’s a massive undertaking providing summaries as they do especially while keeping spoilers low....Read full review »

Pynchon is multi dimensional. Listening to this show has opened my eyes to points I have missed and made the sometimes incomprehensible passages easier to grasp. Many thanks to hosts for your time and effort to put on this podcast.

They don’t really know how to read — Read Pynchon and talk to your friends about it

Show can be enlightening, and I love the hosts. Not a huge fan of the theme song

Chris, Bo, and their guest Pynchon fanatics discuss his notoriously dense novels the way I do with my friends and the paranoiac voice in my head. They aim their tele- or microscopes, depending on the subject, at each passage and tease out in-crowd jokes, camouflaged symbolism, esoteric cultural...Read full review »

Great companion to Pynchon’s works. The Gravity’s Rainbow discussion is enlightening, witty, and comprehensive. Pure joy.

I’ve always enjoyed reading Pynchon, but this podcast helps me now read his books And understand them a lot better. Been listening to the Bleeding Edge series as that’s the book I’m currently reading. But I’m really looking forward to re-reading Gravity’s Rainbow with PIP as a companion. Big...Read full review »

Pynchon is an intimidating but rewarding author to tackle, and this podcast — which comes across as part book club, part classroom discussion — does a great job of making the books accessible to first timers while also providing food for thought for those of us on our third or fourth...Read full review »

Brilliant! Thanks to everyone involved. You are making my reading of Gravity’s Rainbow even more enjoyable and enlightening. Highly recommended.

But both Chris and Bo need to cut out the casual spoilers. And the latter's gonna have to either buy a new microphone or pull his head out of his *** before he speaks because he's nearly inaudible in most of those Gravity's Rainbow episodes, which is a little puzzling since this was...Read full review »

Pynchon is my favorite writer and this team of thoughtful readers give him just the sort of close reading his work deserves. It’s great literary investigation with lots of humor and humanity. If you want to discover one of America’s greatest literary masters, this pod will be a great companion to...Read full review »

This podcast is so good. I thought I loved pinecone before, but the GR episodes have brought that feeling forward in my day to day life. All the cast are great, it's actually funny, the insight is probing and rewards rereading. Keep it up, I beg youRead full review »

Their reading of GR happened to coincide - hmmm - almost directly with my own. Guess you can read more about it in my dossier, but the short version: intelligent, varied insight from a set good natured, well read, and goofy foax. Sometimes wish the recording quality were better, but - eh what are...Read full review »

I'm reading "Gravity's Rainbow" at the moment - it's not an easy read (understatement). I was really struggling to understand what was going on in the book when I found this podcast. Now I enjoy the podcast a lot more than actually reading GR...I read so I can listen to the...Read full review »

A reviewer below said, "I'm so glad this show exists." I feel exactly the same. I love reading Pynchon and it's super fun to hear the discussion. I'm currently re-reading Gravity's Rainbow (2nd time through) along with the group and it's been so helpful to have this...Read full review »

I’ve listened to many, many podcasts about authors and their work, but this one is not only fun to listen to, but offers incisive and thoughtful analysis of the most challenging author of our time. Pynchon’s work is daunting in it’s complexity, but this podcast is like having a literature class...Read full review »

I got hooked after the discussion of Bleeding Edge, which in particular helped me make sense of Nick Windust in a way I hadn't been able to do on my own. I've been enjoying the Inherent Vice episodes, though sometimes they do get a bit unfocused and slightly silly. In any case, kudos to a...Read full review »

I’m so glad this show exists. Once I started diving into these books I had to reach out for some assistance. I wanted to hear what other people thought and managed to piece together from them.
