Description
Queen's University Disability Services assists students with disabilities in many ways including providing advocacy and support, as well as recommending accommodations.
Jeanette Parsons is a Disability Services Advisor at Queen's University Disability Services. She conducts initial interviews to help each student determine which accommodations are required. After the interviews, individualized accommodations are arranged, the appropriate information is sent to faculty and staff and, if required, referrals to other services are provided. In addition to assisting students with accommodations, the Jeanette liaises with the Queen's Community regarding accessibility policies and issues and promotes disability awareness.
