“In the episode “What is our salvation?” One of the podcasters used the “s” word and then in the same breath encouraged apostasy from the faith? What is this? What ever happened to apart from Christ ye can do nothing? What ever happened to coming to the Father ONLY through “me” — the Christ? My entire life has been a long battle between the religion and relationship, and this podcast is yet another source of evidence for me that queer people of faith have a looooooong way to go when it comes to how deeply they relate to scripture and the authority of the Spirit moving through scripture. We are free and liberated, but I absolutely feel like the language and the mere thought of leading someone AWAY from being a member of the BODY of CHRIST and kingdom of God as a SPIRITUAL experience is VERY dangerous.”
