The joke here seems to be that this is ostensibly a show about U2 where the hosts never get around to really discussing U2. Hilarious.
Or it could be hilarious, if the hosts were themselves funny, or if they talked about anything interesting at all. They aren't and they don't. They seem to be relying purely on the star power of the actor who plays Leslie Knope's boring boyfriend/fiancée/husband in Parks and Rec to make this all right. Unfortunately, while I'm sure he could be witty if he tried (which he doesn't), he's not a naturally funny person.
