A bit disappointed
I know it's one episode in, but I'm really disappointed. There's a consistent theme between Blacktapes, Tanis and Rabbit - they all deal with 'ancient' things. Yet when the characters of Blacktapes and Tanis overlap, and predictably Rabbits will too, none of the subject matter each deals with impacts the other (i.e. Tanis moves around every couple of hundred years and caused people and events; Blacktapes is about opening an ancient gateway around supernatural events), but they are a part of the same world? Seriously?! Comic books handle their worlds better than this group. With Rabbits, it's pretty much the female version of Tanis (I'm saying this as I'm a woman). The actors and actresses deliver their lines exactly the same way as the actors and actresses does in Blacktapes and Tanis! You can tell the same person wrote the script for as they characters have the same responses: 'you really think that?', 'yes.' 'Yes?', 'yes.' Normal people don't talk this way! The plot is about an ancient game? Really?! Rip off of Hellraiser much? I might listen to a couple of more episodes, but I won't be expecting much change.Read full review »

Almost done listening to the first episode, and I already want to listen to the next. PNWS does it again. Now I just need season three of the black tapes to feel whole.

Really good first episode to this podcast. Excited and intrigued to see what happens next. As a big fan of mysteries and games this promises to be right up my alley and as a fan of Tanis and The Black Tapes I have every faith that Rabbits will continue to deliver! Already really like the host...Read full review »
