“I’ve always been a person who generally is frustrated with my boss and have always strived to avoid those pitfalls when I too became a manager. These episodes are so specific in the thing so that I can do to create a better environment for my employees. The first episode was assigned to me for my development upon building to a promotion and I decided to listen to the whole series to better my leadership and relationships at work. My boss has also listened to a few episodes and we are reading the book together. I really enjoy the concrete tips at the end of each episode and the stories the hosts tell that show that they’ve also made these mistakes and are sharing from experience on how to avoid them in the future. They are real and relatable and do not skirt around tough topics. Very grateful that this resource exists for manager everywhere!”
