Great idea and a great experience - listen to a different language, see the simple subtitles and immerse yourself in some surprising and satisfying audio storytelling!

Fascinating audio documentaries from around the world, so beautifully subtitled that watching the words dance across the screen feels nigh on mesmeric at times. Fills a huge gap not just in the podcast world, but the culture broadly.

Radio Atlas is such a simple and wonderful idea. Take the best non-English language radio features from around the world and make them into videos with English translations. Foreign films where the pictures are created in your own mind. Just beautiful.

Finally a podcast that offers us a chance to listen to stories outside of the homogeneous anglo/North American radio world and dive into some wonderful non-English pieces with a smart subtitling system that keeps perfect pace with the story. Brilliant way to open up onto the world's best radio.

Genuinely one of the best ideas ever crafted for audio. And it's visual. I can see this building bridges between worlds. Long may it continue.

Radio Atlas is so impressive – it offers a chance to enjoy the best radio docs from around the world. Watching/listening to these stories you forget that you can't understand Dutch or Icelandic or Czech and you're absorbed into these incredible, intimate stories.

This is a much needed portal into the big wide world of audio storytelling. This podcast curates the best non-English radio and makes them accessible. What a joy.

Radio Atlas is a miracle: a portal to all the wonderful non-English-language documentary storytelling out there. Yes, you have to watch the subtitles for it to work. But soon you're just immersed, and it feels a little like flying to another place. They curate and work hard to translate these...Read full review »

An absolutely genius innovation in podcasting. Artistic and lovely in every single way.

Really aesthetic programmes, entirely radio—all you have on screen is the English translation in text, no other images, so you need good headphones and a quiet commute—but once you have that, this video podcast will take you into beautiful, empathetic, gentle worlds. This might change your...Read full review »

Radio Atlas takes the best and most beautiful radio documentaries and sound art from foreign languages, and makes them accessible to an English-speaking audience. It is truly an incredibly labor of love, and us viewers/listeners are all the better for it. 📻❤️
