All-time favorite
This is my all-time favorite podcast, hands down. And I'm delighted they've made it available, because my local public radio stations don't carry the show. Every single episode has been nothing less than fascinating, and they routinely provide me with aural experiences I know I'll remember for the rest of my life. The information alone would be worth paying for, but the production values of the presentation make it the best example I've ever heard of informative "theater of the mind." I only wish they could afford to do a new one every week. I sent a contribution to WNYC precisely because I appreciate this show so much. Be sure to download all the back editions, especially Musical Language and Space from season two.Read full review »

Please, please make more episodes! This, without exaggeration, is the best radio show ever made. I'd be willing to pay a handsome sum for it.Read full review »
