soooo interesting.
historical, scientific, psychological, melange of audio on a variety of topics, but most episodes are about how our brain works, usually from a neurological standpoint. (one notable exception is "detective stories," one of my favorite episodes.) but if that sounds boring, this is anything but. the format is similar to that of of This American Life...each show is on a specific topic, and you'll hear from scientists yes, but you'll also hear a variety of other stories, interviews, essays, etc. on the topic. usually there are mental experiments as well, which are kind of fun to do. this podcast will definitely get you thinking. mp3s of most of the episodes from the first two seasons are available at radiolab.org if you can't get enough (like me).Read full review »
