Ryan's videos are by far the best body of work in one place for newbies and mid-level Ruby and Rails people alike. Ryan's videos are easy to follow, just the right length and introduce you to some fantastic tips and tools. Still going after all these years, Ryan Rocks - I'd be prepared to walk around with that on a t-shirt too...

Railscasts episodes aren't too long and or too short. They're just right for taking a quick break from programming, and you can still learn something really useful. Totally awesome

You should probably learn rails from a getting started book. But when your ready to advance to the next level this podcast will take you there.
