Ryan's videos are by far the best body of work in one place for newbies and mid-level Ruby and Rails people alike. Ryan's videos are easy to follow, just the right length and introduce you to some fantastic tips and tools. Still going after all these years, Ryan Rocks - I'd be prepared to walk...Read full review »

The best podcast for Ruby on Rails out there imo. Episodes comes once a week, like clockwork, and the topics are very up to date and interesting. The author is doing a tremendous work here and serves everything up in a way that is very logical and easy to understand. A must for Rails developers!

Books are great but there is nothing better that to have something explained, built and run while you look on. This I one of THE BEST development/reference tools I have ever found.

Rails is being improved constantly, and it can be difficult to keep track of the latest trends and ways people are working. Ryan will keep you up-to-date, and he'll make you feel good while he does so. He's also a great programmer and his code is always tight. I think you could learn an...Read full review »

The early railscasts provide some good introductory info on Rails, but the focus these days is, of course, generally on the changes to Rails, and on new tools/plugins/etc. Ryan explains stuff well, and clearly, and with good examples. I've been following these casts from the start, and the...Read full review »

I just recently got interested in ROR. I really like the range of topics from advanced to novice. Even though I'm not at the skill level covered in the advanced podcasts, they serve as excellent fuel for immagination and creativity. I look forward to seeing many more of these casts. Thank you.

Ryan is an excellent teacher. It's as if he is sitting in the chair next to you as you pair-program. You get to hear how he thinks and derives a technique, so not only do you learn the right way to do things, but also how he got there (so hopefully you'll remember the next time you have to solve...Read full review »

This podcast is the best Rails training I've found so far ! You'll need to know your way around a Rails application first (it's not really aimed at beginners). Since I've suscribed to this podcast, I've totally rewritten my rails apps, and in a more efficient way. Thank you very much !!
