“Great story. Tragic of course. I always tear up as a parent/grandparent. However, fascinating how a man, husband, father?, dedicated (so-called) friend, coach, ex-cop! Could actually cross the line; that line of desperate thinking- then do the act; the act of killing, murdering a boy, a known boy who adored him. TY for the bonus/final story about what red flags were apparent to friends, with much regret about not acting on them. I believe we’ve all been there!”
